In the early 50’s the cha-cha-cha dance was firstly spotted in Cuba by European dance teachers and brought to England, where it was developed and exposed to the public. That laid the foundation to the cha-cha-cha we dance today, which underwent lots of transformations throughout the past 60 years. It is a very fast, sharp and sexy dance and also one of the most popular social dances due to its upbeat and fun music. Most of the Cha-Cha figures contain a characteristic Chasse action – a triple step. Cha-Cha-Cha dance is used in Latin-American dance competitions around the world.
