Rumba

Rumba is a slow Latin-American dance of Cuban origin. Rumba is considered the dance of love; it is very sensual and romantic. The distinctive hip movement, called Cuban Motion, is a very important element of the Rumba. The dance is fun to watch, as many of its figures have a teasing theme in which the lady flirts with and then rejects her male partner and then he is trying to win her back.
The Rumba spotlights the lady’s rhythmic body movements and hip actions resulting in intense, almost steamy, scenes of passion.

You can learn to dance the Rumba either in private dance lessons or  as part of our group dance classes easily accessible from North York, Scarborough, Markham and Toronto.
