Cha Cha

Cha-Cha is part of Latin-American competitive dance program. Very fast, sharp & sexy. Originally from Cuba; it was spotted there in the early 50-ies by European dance teachers and brought to England, where it was developed and described. That laid the foundation to the cha-cha of today, which still underwent lots of transformations within the past 60 years. Cha-cha is one of the most popular social dances due to its upbeat and fun music. Most of the Cha-Cha figures contain a characteristic Chasse action – a triple step.
